Orbit Is Now Available in Claude's Connectors Directory

Orbit, the award-winning investment research platform, is now listed in Claude's Connectors Directory as Orbit Investment Research. Any Claude user can connect in a few clicks and bring citation-grounded research into their conversations, with answers drawn from primary filings, earnings call transcripts, and company disclosures. Why we built the connector

Investment teams already use Claude to draft, summarize, and reason through complex questions. For investment work, Claude needs access to the primary documents behind every decision. On its own, a general model relies on what the web has indexed, usually news coverage and secondary commentary.

The Orbit connector gives Claude direct access to Orbit's Knowledge Base: 70M+ documents covering 75,000+ listed companies across 120 countries and 80+ exchanges, including exclusive coverage of 5,500 China A-share companies.

We measured the difference. In our evaluation of 10 institutional research questions, Claude connected to Orbit scored 6.51 out of 10, ahead of ChatGPT (5.90), Claude on its own (5.62), and Microsoft Copilot (3.30). What the connector does

The connector adds five read-only research tools to Claude:

• Company Search resolves a ticker, ISIN, LEI, or company name to the right company.
• Get Filings Data searches annual and quarterly reports, earnings call transcripts, ESG and sustainability reports, proxy filings, and investor presentations, and returns a summary that cites the source document, section, and page.
• News Sentiment Tracker provides daily sentiment scores from 0 to 100, with positive and negative events, competitors, and risk factors classified for you.
• Stock Price returns end-of-day prices for any window, from one day to the full available history.
• Financial News finds recent financial, economic, and business news by keyword, date range, and language.

Every filings answer links back to the original document in Orbit Insight, so you can check the source paragraph in one click. The connector is read only: it cannot create, change, or delete anything in your Orbit account. Sign-in uses OAuth, so Claude receives a secure access token and never sees your password. You can disconnect at any time from Claude's connector settings.

How to connect Orbit to Claude

• Get an Orbit account. Existing clients use their current Orbit Insight login. New users can register for a free trial, which includes 500 credits.
• Open Claude at claude.ai or in Claude Desktop, then go to Customize and open Connectors.
• Search the directory for Orbit Investment Research.
• Click Connect. You will be taken to Orbit's sign-in page.
• Sign in with your Orbit credentials and approve access.
• Start a new chat, open the tools menu with the + button, and check that Orbit Investment Research is switched on.
• Ask a question. Try one of the prompts below.

On Claude Team and Enterprise plans, an organization owner may need to enable the connector before members can add it. Once connected, Orbit is available wherever you use Claude with the same account, including Claude Desktop and the mobile apps.

Developers working in Claude Code can add the same server from the terminal:

Already using the Orbit custom connector?

If you previously added Orbit to Claude as a custom connector, you can switch to the directory listing today with the same Orbit credentials. Your account, subscription, and credits stay exactly as they are, and both point to the same Orbit server, so your results will not change.

• In Claude, go to Customize, open Connectors, and remove the Orbit custom connector you added manually. This keeps the same tools from appearing twice.
• Add Orbit Investment Research from the directory and sign in with your existing Orbit credentials.

Anthropic reviewed the directory listing, which makes approval simpler for IT and compliance teams that only allow listed connectors.

Filings questions can take up to two minutes, because Orbit reads and analyzes the source documents before it answers.

The connector brings Orbit's research into Claude. Orbit Insight adds the rest of the platform: market-wide screening, sector dashboards, monitoring, and Orbit's own research agents, which scored highest in our benchmark.
